On January 26, 2023, on the basis of the educational complex of the gymnasium School No. 67, the Department of Education of the Bishkek City Mayor's Office jointly with the Bishkek City Police Department held a city review competition "Young Friend of the Militia" (YFM).

The event was attended by Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Victoria Mozgacheva.

The purpose of the competition is to activate the activities of the YFM detachments for the prevention of offenses among minors, the education of a positive legal awareness of the younger generation, the organization of employment and leisure of teenagers.

The contest "Young friend of the militia" was held in the following categories:

- The "Drill Training" competition;
- Contest "Future Human rights defender";
- Wall Newspaper contest;
- Contest of the agitbrigada of the YFM detachment;
- Captains' contest "Our fighter is a good man everywhere";
- Contest "Song about the police";
- Competition of videos about the work of the school team of YFM.

The teams of YFM schools took part in the competition №№: 8, 26, 41, 52, 67, 73, 75, 84, those who took 1.2 places in the district rounds.

According to the results of the city review-contest of the YFM, the prizes were taken:

1st place – YFM team of secondary school No. 8;
2nd place – YFM team of secondary school No. 73;
3rd place – the YFM team of secondary school No. 84.

All the teams of the city schools that took part in the city competition "Young friend of the militia" were awarded valuable prizes, diplomas, certificates of the Education Department of the Bishkek City Hall.

The school No. 8 team will take part in the republican contest "Young friend of the militia".
