The Commission approved priority areas and a list of necessary documents for applying for incentive (equity) grants for 2023.

It should be recalled that grants are allocated to finance priority projects aimed at developing the territory of Bishkek city and local communities, increasing public activity and forming independent solutions to communal and other issues of life.

In 2022, the municipal administration held 4 meetings of the grant commission, where 17 projects were considered, of which 16 projects were approved and recommended for financing at the expense of an incentive grant totaling 4890744 soms.

The funds were mainly used to repair the soft roof, passenger elevators, replacement of window blocks and others.

According to the Regulation on the Grant Commission of the Local self-government of Bishkek dated December 2, 2009 No. 115, applications and projects for funding from grants are accepted after the approval of the Bishkek city budget. About 5,000,000 soms are allocated annually.
