The Mayor of the capital Emilbek Abdikadyrov and the speaker of the Bishkek City Kenesh Kubanychbek Kongantiev met with Metropolit Vikenty of Tashkent and Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the issue of promoting the construction of a comprehensive school in the capital, expanding cooperation between the diocese's volunteers and city volunteer organizations, as well as extending trolleybus route No. 11 at the request of the parishioners of the Resurrection Cathedral.

The mayor noted that the municipality will consider the possibility of providing a land plot for the construction of a school.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Mayor Victoria Mozgacheva, Vladyka Savvati, Father Andrey Kunavin, Director of the LLC "Independent Center for Expertise and Evaluation" Natalia Kulmatova.
