According to the production and operational management of “Bishkekvodokanal”, on January 17, specialists of the wastewater disposal service were able to eliminate the blockage of the sewer collector on Maldybayev Street below I. Akhunbayev street in the morning.

The sewer system was clogged thanks to negligent subscribers who continue to "delight" emergency crews with a variety of items. Workers pulled 100 kg of rags, medical waste, cotton swabs, wet wipes, plastic bags and a piece of cement curb from the sewer.

It took 11 hours to eliminate the blockage of the sewer system. Specialists of the water utility worked at night at subzero air temperature.
