Since the beginning of the year, free vaccination against hepatitis B has started in the family medicine centers of the capital.

So, in the building of the May Day Akimat, an action was held aimed at increasing the level of knowledge about the virus. A total of 44 people were examined and vaccinated with the drug "Regevak B" produced by the Russian Federation for free.

Note that hepatitis B is a common and dangerous infectious disease affecting the liver. The incidence of viral hepatitis continues to increase in Kyrgyzstan. The most effective protection against hepatitis B is vaccination.

Transmission of the virus most often occurs perinatal from mother to child, through contact with blood or other biological fluids, in particular during sexual contact with an infected partner, unsafe practice of performing injections and cuts with a piercing and cutting tool.

The drug "Regevak B" is found three times: the second course of revaccination is carried out 1 month after the first, the third 6 months after the first. The population from 23 to 65 years of age is subject to vaccination. The course of vaccination leads to the formation of resistant antibodies to the hepatitis B virus.
