Metropolitan trolleybuses occupy a special place in the hearts of Bishkek residents. They transport thousands of people every day and have become an integral part of urban transport.
On January 13, 1951, strange four-horned cars appeared for the first time on the streets of Frunze. The first flight ran from the railway station to the Academy of Sciences. Residents of the city liked the new mode of transport, and they jokingly nicknamed them "bulls".
During the first year of operation, trolleybuses transported more than three and a half million passengers.
Today, 140 trolleybuses enter the line daily.
The management includes 2 depots, an energy facility, 19 substations and 7 control rooms.
The company employs 610 people, among them more than 100 employees with the rank of "Labor Veterans". Their work experience in the company is more than 25 years.
