It is planned to install location detection devices in public transport

In the capital, inspectors of the UPSM for Bishkek and Director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure Maksat Nusuvaliyev held a working meeting with representatives of shipping companies.

The shipping companies were instructed to equip vehicles with location-based devices as soon as possible.

The staff of the UPSM in Bishkek paid special attention to safety when transporting passengers by public transport, the main causes of car accidents and the most frequent violations of traffic rules. So, among the most frequent violations are driving into oncoming traffic, ignoring the requirements of road signs and traffic lights, chaotic driving.

In turn, the heads and representatives of organizations engaged in passenger transportation asked the inspectors questions and expressed their suggestions and wishes regarding road safety.

Summing up the meeting, the staff of the UPSM in Bishkek recommended that the transport companies carefully select drivers, monitor their appearance and behavior, reminded of the increased responsibility assigned to them when transporting residents and guests of the capital.
