A meeting on the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic "On measures to curb illegal activities for the organization and conduct of gambling" was held at the Bishkek City Hall.

During the meeting, the deputy akims of the capital, the Bishkek city police Department were given a protocol instruction to carry out work together with the relevant state bodies to curb illegal activities for organizing and conducting gambling in the territory of Bishkek.

It is also instructed to conduct preventive conversations among the population on an ongoing basis, to respond in a timely manner to citizens' appeals on the fact of illegal organization and conduct of gambling.

The Education Department of the Bishkek City Mayor's Office has been instructed to conduct explanatory work among students on an ongoing basis.
