In Bishkek, a requiem rally was held in memory of the feat of the soldiers of the Panfilov division. The event was attended by the head of the Pervomaisky district Maksat Nusuvaliyev, representatives of the Russian Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, Rossotrudnichestvo, veteran and youth organizations.

M. Nusuvaliev noted that honoring the Panfilov heroes, we pay tribute to everyone who gave his life for the future of his descendants.

The rally of memory of the heroes ended with the laying of flowers at the monument to Major General I.V. Panfilov.

Then, with the songs of the war years, the musical group of the Republican Council of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan performed.

By the way, this year we celebrate the 79th anniversary of the Red Army counterattack, in this special merit of the soldiers of the 316th Infantry Division, formed during the war in the cities of Frunze and Alma-Ata from the natives of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan under the command of the military commissar of the Kyrgyz SSR, Major General Panfilov.
