Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev conducted an on-site inspection of School No. 56 as part of the follow-up on previously issued directives.
The Mayor reviewed the progress of ongoing works and emphasized the importance of promptly addressing identified issues.
“Instead of giving excuses, you should have focused on finding solutions. Such matters must be addressed comprehensively and systematically, without my personal intervention. There is no need to wait for my visit — you must act proactively,” the Mayor stressed, addressing the heads of city services.
Mayor Dzhunushaliev instructed officials to complete all ongoing works, improve the school’s facade, and enhance the surrounding area, with particular attention given to landscaping the schoolyard.
The municipal enterprise BishkekAsphaltService carried out asphalt paving on the school grounds, BishkekZelenStroy prepared planting pits and is maintaining the green spaces, while BishkekSvet replaced the lighting in the gymnasium.
Previously, the Mayor had already visited School No. 56 and instructed that the identified shortcomings be resolved.
In addition, a major renovation of School No. 56 is planned for next year. Additional funds will be allocated from the Bishkek Mayor’s reserve fund to implement the project, which aims to create comfortable and safe learning conditions for students.
