At the T. Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall, the teachers of Bishkek were solemnly congratulated on their professional holiday.
Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, Minister of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic, Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, and other honored guests addressed the teachers and veteran educators.
The mayor awarded the winners of the “Best Teacher of the Year – 2025” contest in the following categories:

Best Social Studies Teacher
Best English Teacher
Best Geography Teacher
Best Biology Teacher

Best State Language Teacher at Preschool
Winners of first place received certificates worth 100,000 KGS, second place — 80,000 KGS, and third place — 60,000 KGS.
Mayor Junushaliev congratulated the teachers on their professional holiday and expressed gratitude for their dedicated and diligent work.
“With the support of the President, over the past three years, 9 schools, 15 additional school buildings, and 23 kindergartens have been constructed. This work will continue, and the newly built schools will be modernized and adapted according to inclusive principles.
Annual major repairs are carried out in educational institutions. In 2025, more than 1 billion KGS has been allocated for these purposes, including institutions returned to state ownership.
To replenish teaching staff and provide employment, the city budget allocates funds for the ‘Young Teacher Deposit’ program. Over the past three years, more than 300 teachers have participated, 58 of whom received around 8 million KGS,” — noted A. Junushaliev.
The mayor also mentioned plans to increase funding for the Young Teacher Deposit program and for teacher professional development.
The celebration concluded with a colorful concert featuring Honored Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic, National Artists, ensembles, and winners of the international competition “Intervision-2025” — including the trio Nomad.
