Today, September 19, a ceremonial opening took place in Bishkek for the park between Murmanskaya and Abakanskaya streets and the Sports and Fitness Complex named after Zh. Alykulov, covering a total area of 2.48 hectares.
The event was attended by the Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu; Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — Chairman of the State Committee for National Security, Kamchybek Tashiev; Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev; member of the Bishkek City Kenesh and President of the National Judo Federation, Kuvanychbek Kongantiev.
The park features a children’s playground with rubber flooring, a workout zone, an 810-square-meter running track, over 3,300 square meters of paving stones, benches, street lamps, a gazebo with a chess table, outdoor tables, and trash bins.
A total of 150 trees were planted (linden, plane, ash, and willow), an automatic irrigation system was installed, and 414 drainage trays were laid.
This facility aims to create a comfortable urban environment, promote sports, and increase the green space in the capital.
