Thus, traffic along Kurmanzhan Datka Street from Chui Avenue to Zhibek Zholu Avenue has been fully resumed.

Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev personally inspected the reconstructed site and talked with residents. The citizens expressed their gratitude for the creation of comfortable conditions. In turn, the mayor noted that the municipality will fulfill all the obligations given during the dismantling of the obstructing facilities.

The following works were carried out during the reconstruction:

•the heating mains on the section from Frunze Street to Saliev Street were completely renovated;

•the width of the roadway has been increased from 12-16 to 21 meters;

•two layers of asphalt were laid with a total thickness of 11 cm;

•New curbs and road signs have been installed. 

Additionally planned:

•construction of sidewalks 3 meters wide;

•installation of a 2-meter wide bike path;

•arrangement of irrigation troughs on both sides of the street;

•Creation of a green zone.


The mayor also instructed to speed up the construction of sidewalks, bike paths, bus stops and the installation of street lighting.


According to the contract, the reconstruction was scheduled to be completed on October 30, 2025. However, for the convenience of the townspeople, the work was completed ahead of schedule.
