In Bishkek city in the meeting room of municipal enterprise “Bishkekglavarhitekture” the work done by the enterprise, projects and plans for the future were discussed.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, Mayor of Bishkek Aibek Dzhunushaliev, as well as heads of city services took part.

Urmat Karybaev, Chief Architect of Bishkek, presented projects on road and transportation development, improvement of the capital and design code.

The existing problems and possible ways to solve them were voiced at the meeting:

- on transportation and road infrastructure (construction of new transportation networks and cable car, opening of new streets, introduction of separate sections for public transportation);

- Inappropriate parking (introduction of "Smart Parking" system, as well as special regime on the central streets of the capital).

U.Karybaev also told about plans to plant trees such as maple, linden, gladicia, hybrid poplar, oak, elm, Pallas / Crimean pine, juniper at the suggestion of Research Institute "Botanical Garden" named after E.Gareev.

They also heard information on land amnesty, administrative-territorial reform and the General Plan.

In addition, they discussed the construction of a new hippodrome and the issue of relocation of the old one.

They also noted the reconstruction of the small arena named after D. Omurzakov, the Republican Center for Physical Culture and Sports "Emgek Reservi" and the Big Chui Canal.

They also told about the construction of a stadium for 40 thousand seats, as well as the improvement of the Alamedin and Ala-Archa rivers.
